New Orleans Comedy Scene Sees Big Names in April
New Orleans comedy fans will get more than their fair share of laughs this April with a raft of national comedians stopping in town. What’s more, not one of these five highlighted shows costs more than $15.
The highlights start on April 1, when Hell Yes Fest and The New Movement present Moshe Kasher and Natasha Leggero, both regular panelists for “Chelsea Lately,” plus special guest Tom Lennon (“The State” and “Reno 911″). In mid-April, Steve Rannazzisi (“The League” and “Daddy Knows Best”), Neal Brennan (co-creator of “Chappelle’s Show”) and Chris D’Elia (“Whitney”) all tape one-hour specials for Comedy Central. And just before Jazz Fest, Kyle Kinane (“Whiskey Icarus”) and Sean Patton do a one-night stand at a special edition of Comedy Beast.
